The Family Resource Guide is the only comprehensive compilation of services and systems available to Allegheny County families of children ages birth-21 with developmental delays, special health care needs and disabilities. It provides:
Complete, accurate and consistent information about all resources available to families;
Family-friendly format and language;
Educational tools for case managers/service providers working with families;
“How to” information for all the systems families may need;
Improved family access to providers and services;
Model tools for improving communication between families and service providers.
The revised website will provide a complete guide of services, categorized by six important areas:
